FUTURE TENSES WITH WILL

Future Simple (WILL + VERB)

Afirmativo: I / you / he / she / it / we / they will travel

Negativo: I / you / he / she / it / we / they will not travel (will not = won’t)

Interrogativo:  Will I / you / he / she / it / we / they travel ?

Future Continuous (WILL BE + -ING)

  • Usado para expresar uma atividade que estará em progresso em um tempo específico no futuro.

Afirmativo: I / you / he / she / it / we / they will be traveling

Negativo: I / you / he / she / it / we / they will not be traveling (will not = won’t)

Interrogativo:  Will I / you / he / she / it / we / they be traveling ?

  • Exemplos:

1) Don’t come before the eighth, please, because I will be traveling. I will be back on Wednesday the nineth.

2) This tomorrow we will be having dinner at the best restaurant in town.

(Observação: traveling e traveled – American English; travelling e travelled – British English)

Future Perfect (WILL HAVE + PARTICIPLE)

  • Expressa uma ação que terminará antes de um tempo X no futuro. Não se sabe exatamente quando a ação acontecerá, mas sabe-se que acontecerá antes de um determinado tempo.

Afirmativo: I / you / he / she / it / we / they will have traveled

Negativo: I / you / he / she / it / we / they will not have traveled (will not = won’t)

Interrogativo:  Will I / you / he / she / it / we / they have traveled?

  • Exemplos:

1) I will have already left by 7 o’clock.

2) Don’t worry. I will have finished it before the come.

3) By this time next month, we will have build the house.
